Meg’s story from X – Games…

For years Aspen local Megan Olenick watched her older brother, three-time Winter X medalist Peter Olenick, compete at Winter X before getting her chance in 2009. Despite some tough conditions during the women’s Slopestyle comp at WX ‘09, Megan laid down some solid runs for fifth place. This CU Boulder senior who is majoring in English Literature also finished third at the 2009 Dew Tour stop at Northstar-at-Tahoe. At 6 foot, 3 inches, she is the tallest female athlete in the history of Winter X.
