Trennon Paynter

Widely recognized as one of the most experienced halfpipe ski coaches in the world, Trennon is Head Freeride Coach at Momentum and the Canadian National Halfpipe Coach. A former Olympian and World Cup mogul skier, Trennon has been on the podium in almost every different type of ski event, from moguls to halfpipe, slopestyle to skiercross. He is now the driving force behind the highly successful Canadian Halfpipe Team, many of whom are coaches at Momentum, including Sarah Burke, Mike Riddle, Justin Dorey and Ross Groenewoud. Trennon has been coaching with Momentum since 1996 and is a certified aerial, mogul and trampoline coach.
